Highly Sprung tell compelling and relevant stories, where text moves and movement speaks. Our work with and for children and young people produces bold, spectacular performances and unforgettable experiences, in unexpected ways, spaces, and places.
Every year Highly Sprung transform the lives of thousands of children and young people. We deliver workshops to more than 5000 children and young people and reach an audience of nearly 40,000 with our touring performances across the UK and the world.

The UK’s only physical performance festival exclusively for young people.
Now in its 15th year, the Physical Fellowship was established to give young people the opportunity to explore their understanding and experience of physical theatre. For 2024 we are exploring the theme of POWER. Each evening feature original physical performance work from local school and youth groups, finishing with a headline show from Sprung Advance Plus.

We’re recruting a Freelance Fundraiser
Highly Sprung are looking for a talented and creative fundraiser to join our team, helping us sustain and grow our income.
The Fundraiser will play a key role within the charity. We are looking for a talented individual to secure funding for projects and core costs for 2025 onwards. You will play a vital part in helping us to achieve our long-term mission and provide more opportunities for children and young people to benefit from the transformational potential of our work.

Drowning under a crushing mass of plastic, the Keeper of the Waterways awakens and rises up. It’s time for change.
Highly Sprung’s CastAway is a stunning outdoor performance that explores the impact of today’s throwaway society on our waterways. Featuring a unique gyroscopic flying machine, it presents a brand new approach to aerial theatre. The all female cast immerses audiences in an underwater world where performers dive, twist and float over 26 feet in the air to delight, inspire and captivate audiences of all ages.
