A Day Like This

A Day Like This

IN PARTNERSHIP WITH COVENTRY REFUGEE AND MIGRANT CENTRE AND HEART OF ENGLAND COMMUNITY FOUNDATION

A Day Like This brought together families that hadn’t travelled by train from Coventry. We worked with newly arrived families in Coventry. Through workshops,  people who had never experienced train travel learnt  more about how to book tickets, how to keep safe during train travel and the exciting opportunities that travelling by train provide.

Following the sessions, we all embarked on a very special day trip to Mary Arden’s Farm in Stratford Upon Avon, experiencing the opportunities that being in nature provides. Finally, families shared their experiences through a film and sharing event at Coventry Railway station.
