Recruitment: Associate Artists to deliver inspiring participatory projects 

We are looking for people with physical theatre or dance theatre expertise, to extend our pool of Associate Artists, leading participatory projects on a freelance basis in varied settings. Artists will attend a training residency in January, before working closely with our existing team delivering projects as an artist and educator.

Deadline for applications is Monday 3rd January 2022 at 5pm.

 

Out Out: Callout for 16-30 year olds identifying as LGBTQIA+ based in Coventry or Warwickshire

Highly Sprung have been selected to produce one of 10 new films celebrating the theme Unlocked, for national broadcast on a national platform in April 2022. ‘Out Out’ is an ambitious idea unlocking and celebrating the voices of Coventry’s emerging LGBTQIA+ community on a national platform. Giving positive and celebrated space to young voices and bringing to the mainstream stories that are often hidden or censored.

We are looking for LGBTQIA+ identifying people aged 14-30 from Coventry and Warwickshire to:

  • Join our steering group and shape the artistic vision

  • Share stories of coming out to inform a verbatim script – online anonymously or through our listening workshops

  • Perform in the final film.

 

A Day Like This: Callout for Coventry & Warwickshire Families for project with Avanti Train Station

Are you a family based in Coventry who has not previously travelled by train? We are looking for local families  to take part in a unique project and very special family day out by train for A Day Like This, run by Highly Sprung for Heart of England Community Rail Partnership and Avanti West Coast.  This project is a FREE opportunity, and we can support with travel to and from the sessions.

 

Critical Mass: Callout for 16-30 year olds for the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Cultural Programme

 

If you are aged 16-30 and based in the West Midlands then this for you! Join critical mass for a unique opportunity for you to be a part of some of 2022’s biggest eve
nts including the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games opening and closing ceremonies. Highly Sprung artist Emily Robertson is an artist on the project,  leading FREE weekly creative dance & movement rehearsals, every Tuesday from 6pm – 7.30pm at the Daimler Powerhouse, Coventry, CV1 4DQ.
