We’re so thrilled to announce that the popular Highly Sprung Play Day is back in Coventry this September. Thanks to funding from the National Lottery Community Fund, we’re hosting another fun-filled day at the Daimler Powerhouse on Saturday 9th September 2023.
We want everyone to play, create and invent at the Highly Sprung Play Day. For our September event, we have a family-friendly line up with activities for all ages. With den building, team games, local community stalls, challenges and more. You can also bring your own picnic and share food with other local families in Radford.

Our September Play Day builds on the legacy of the project, which first began earlier this year thanks to funding from the Heart of England Community Foundation Priorities and Peugeot Fund, Change X, The Lego Foundation and Let’s Play America. With over 300 attendees, 100% said they would come back for more.
So, why play? It’s always been a core aspect of our approach at Highly Sprung, and we truly believe it is a vital part of the human experience. Play grows relationships, builds communities and fuels imagination. Highly Sprung’s Play Day provides family activities which provide joy, relieve stress, and help connect families and new friends. This was showcased at our last Play Day, when an incredible 70% said they made connections with new people at the event.
